1. Introduction

Welcome to KroNav. KRONAV (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED is committed to prioritizing your privacy and ensuring your personal schema and schedule data remain secure. This document explains how KRONAV (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED handles your data, especially given our AI and voice capabilities.

2. Offline First & Local Storage

KroNav is built with a strictly "Offline First" architecture using local SQLite. This means your events, tasks, blueprints, and routines are stored directly on your device. We do not sync your core schedule data to our servers unless explicitly required for premium cloud-sync functionality.

3. AI and Voice Data Processing

To provide our intelligent scheduling and voice features, KroNav utilizes Google's Gemini AI via the Firebase AI platform.

  • Natural Language: When you use AI commands to create or modify tasks, the textual content of your scheduling request is securely sent to Google's Gemini AI API for processing. Google processes this data according to their Firebase Data Processing Terms. We do not send personal identifiers with these requests.
  • Voice Commands: Voice input is first converted to text on your device using Apple's Speech Recognition framework. The resulting text is then sent to Google's Gemini AI to understand and act on your scheduling intent. The original audio recording is not transmitted to any server.
Your data sent to Google's Gemini AI is used strictly for fulfilling your immediate scheduling request and is not used by Google to train AI models. Data processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase Terms of Service.

4. Analytics, Telemetry, and Subscriptions

To improve KroNav and manage premium features, we use authorized third-party services:

  • Analytics & Config: We use Firebase Analytics by Google to collect anonymized usage metrics such as screen views, feature interactions, and app performance data. This data is not linked to your identity and is used solely to improve the app experience. We do not collect Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or use any tracking frameworks. We also use Firebase Remote Config to manage app settings remotely without collecting personal data.
  • Subscriptions: We use Adapty to securely manage your premium subscription status and purchase history. Adapty receives your purchase transaction data from Apple to verify your subscription. We do not store or process your credit card details; all direct financial transactions are handled securely by Apple through the App Store.

5. How We Use Your Data

We use the minimal data collected strictly for empowering your schedule within the application and enhancing functionality. We do NOT sell, lease, or distribute your personal scheduling data to any third-party advertising networks.

6. Children's Privacy

KroNav is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

7. Your Rights

Because your primary data lives on your device, you have full control. You can modify, delete, or wipe your schedule data at any time.

  • Delete All Local Data: Go to your iPhone Settings → General → iPhone Storage → KroNav → Delete App. This permanently removes all locally stored schedule data, preferences, and cached information from your device.
  • Delete Server-Side Data: To request deletion of any data associated with your subscription or analytics, contact us at support@kronav.app.

8. Data Retention & Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We retain local data only as long as installed on your device, and any server-side data (if applicable for premium services) only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
